Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms are a legal agreement between you (the "User") and the operator of Writelix ("we," "us," "Writelix"), a sole proprietorship based in Uttar Pradesh, India. By creating an account or using Writelix in any way, you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, do not use Writelix.

We may update these Terms at any time. The current version will always be on this page. Continued use after an update means you accept the change.

2. What Writelix Does

Writelix is an AI-powered tool that takes your input content (text, URLs, files, or YouTube links) and uses third-party AI models to generate social media posts, marketing copy, and PowerPoint presentations.

AI output is not guaranteed. The AI can be wrong, off-topic, biased, or unsuitable for publishing. You alone are responsible for reviewing, editing, and fact-checking everything Writelix generates before you use it anywhere. Writelix makes no warranty about the accuracy or quality of any output.

3. Eligibility & Account

You must be at least 18 years old to use Writelix. You are responsible for the security of your password and for everything that happens under your account. You may not share your account, create multiple accounts, or use the service to bypass plan limits.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or misused the service. No refund is owed in that case.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Writelix to:

• Generate illegal, fraudulent, defamatory, hateful, or misleading content
• Create spam, phishing, malware, or scam material
• Produce content that harms or sexualizes minors
• Infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, or other rights
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or automate the service beyond your plan limits
• Train any competing AI model using Writelix or its outputs
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to Writelix

Violation of this section may result in immediate account termination and forfeiture of any unused credits without refund.

5. Content Ownership

You keep ownership of the input content you submit to Writelix. To the extent allowed by law, you also keep the AI-generated outputs produced from your input and may use them as you see fit. Writelix makes no claim of ownership over either, and makes no warranty that outputs are free of third-party rights.

The Writelix platform itself — the website, design, code, prompts, and infrastructure — is our property. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of it.

6. Pricing & Billing

• Free: ₹0/month — 8 repurposes + 1 presentation
• Starter: ₹199/month — 100 repurposes + 8 presentations
• Pro: ₹499/month — 300 repurposes + 25 presentations

Prices are in Indian Rupees and may change at any time. Paid plans renew automatically each month through Razorpay until you cancel from your account settings. You can cancel anytime; you keep access until the end of the current billing period.

No partial refunds. Once a billing period starts, the fee for that period is non-refundable. AI processing is delivered immediately when credits are used, so the service is treated as fully rendered upon use.

If you file a chargeback or payment dispute for services you have already used, we may suspend your account and pursue recovery of fees and costs.

7. Service Availability — "As Is"

Writelix is provided "as is" and "as available" with no warranties of any kind, express or implied — including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

We do not guarantee uptime, error-free operation, that the service will meet your needs, or that any output will be useful. Writelix relies on third-party providers (OpenAI, Supabase, Razorpay, Vercel) and is not liable for their outages, errors, or actions. We are not liable for any data loss; please export or back up anything important.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Writelix and its operator from any claim, damage, loss, liability, or expense (including legal fees) arising out of or related to:

• Your violation of these Terms or any law
• The content you submit to or generate using Writelix
• How you use or publish any output from Writelix
• Any third-party rights you infringe through your use of the service

This obligation continues after your account is closed.

10. Disputes & Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to Writelix is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Uttar Pradesh, India, regardless of where you live. You waive any objection to this venue.

Before starting any legal action, you agree to first email contact@writelix.com and give us at least 30 days to respond and try to resolve the matter.

Any claim must be filed within one (1) year after it arises, or it is permanently barred.

11. General

• If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in full effect.
• Our failure to enforce any right does not waive that right later.
• You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them at our discretion.
• These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Cancellation & Refund Policy are the entire agreement between you and Writelix.
