Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Plans

• Free: ₹0/month — 8 repurposes + 1 presentation. No payment, no cancellation needed.
• Starter: ₹199/month — 100 repurposes + 8 presentations. Auto-renews monthly.
• Pro: ₹499/month — 300 repurposes + 25 presentations. Auto-renews monthly.

2. How to Cancel

1. Log in and go to Settings → Manage Subscription.
2. Click Cancel Subscription and confirm.
3. You will receive a confirmation email.

If the in-app cancel option does not work, email contact@writelix.com with the subject line "Cancel Subscription" and we will process it manually.

3. After Cancellation

• No further charges will be made.
• You keep full access to your paid plan until the end of the current billing period.
• Once that period ends, your account is automatically moved to the Free plan.
• Content you have already generated remains in your account.

4. Refund Policy

No refunds. Subscription fees, including for unused time in your billing period, are non-refundable. Writelix delivers AI-generated content immediately when you use it, so the service is treated as fully rendered upon use.

The trade-off is that you keep full access until the end of your billing period, even after cancellation.

5. Failed Payments

If your renewal payment fails, Razorpay will retry for several days. If it still fails, your account is automatically downgraded to the Free plan. You can update your payment method and re-subscribe at any time.

6. Chargebacks

Please email contact@writelix.com before filing any payment dispute with your bank. Filing a chargeback for services you have already used may result in account suspension and recovery of fees and costs.

7. Re-subscribing

You can upgrade back to Starter or Pro at any time from your account settings. A new billing cycle begins immediately.

8. Deleting Your Account

To permanently delete your account, go to Settings → Account → Delete My Account. This cancels any active subscription, removes your profile and content, and cannot be undone.

9. Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Uttar Pradesh, India.
